would you comfort me?I stood by the window with floods of tears melting on my skin,  I was stupid enough to think you'd care, and comfort the girl within.  I couldn't control myself any longer, and the tears began to stream,  Like a river they gushed down, defeated by my weak self-esteem.  You took one look at me and you couldn't possibly care less.  I watched you walk out the door, leaving the "fair" maiden in distress.  I'll never forget that look in your eye as you left without  saying a word,  You've been acting strangely recently, acting quite absurd.  All I wanted was a hug, surely that's not too much to ask would you comfort me?

Poem for a best friendLoud and quiet, we make quite the pair,  Wherever you go, I follow you there.  We've grown up a lot since we first met,  Each other's shadow, our own silhouette.  From dressing up, and dressing down,  To partying and nights on the town.  We've had the good times and the bad,  Calm each other down when we get mad.  We spend way too long talking online,  Facebook to us is like a holy shrine.  If we scream at horror films, we scream as one,  And always get scared before the movie's begun.  Your music taste is so similar to mine,  Although half the time we live on cloud nine.   Poem for a best friend

Together?The thought dances through my mind  Do I love you? Do I want you back?   
 
 
I had felt bad at first,  Leaving you the way I did.   
But once the thought sunk in, Freedom was felt.  No more biting my tongue, worried a flirtacious word would fall out  Or Refusing to hug my best friend because you were jealous of him.   
I was so nervous that me leaving you would hurt you.  I sat up all night, enjoying the newfound freedom,  But also praying for your forgiveness.  Hoping a grudge is something you wouldnt hold  and Hoping that pain is something I didnt cause you. &n Together?

Him and HerWalked past him again today.  Looked deep into his eyes.  Tried my best to talk casually,  Everything I said was a lie.   
His name in every word I say  His face imprinted in my mind...  I've never really felt this way  I feel so clueless and blind.   
Then in the center of all this confusion,  She steals his heart away..  Wishing this was all an illusion  Wishing she would go away.   
They were meant to be together  Theres nothing I can do.  And this "one time fling" just might be forever...  I feel like such a fool.
